This wheel-thrown stoneware mug features hand-painted huckleberry branches winding across warm, speckled clay, with berries in soft shades of blue, lavender, and dusty pink. A pale lavender-blue glaze finishes the rim, handle, and interior, where subtle blue speckles make each mug a little different.
 
Each huckleberry branch is painted by hand, so no two mugs are exactly alike—the berries, leaves, and branches shift naturally from one piece to the next.
